I studied at Centennial College, where I graduated with an advanced diploma in Business Administration Marketing. During my studies, I worked at The GAP and then Victoria’s Secret, where I learned and honed my communication and customer service skills. After graduating from Centennial College,
I began working with RCT to gain experience in the non-profit sector and make a meaningful impact within local communities. In my role at RCT as a sales and marketing assistant, I work with one of the Community Engagement Leads. I contact clients and help set up meetings. This hands-on experience has allowed me to contribute to the company’s growth and has given me valuable insight into how RCT’s programs benefit the clients and communities we serve. I’ve also had the opportunity to participate in team meetings and help with events like the St. Lawrence ReMarket, where I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact of our efforts on sustainability.
Also, the youth internship program at RCT has allowed me to explore different areas of the company like inventory and logistics, giving me a broader understanding of the organization. What I enjoy most about working at RCT is the meaningful impact we make. By refurbishing and distributing technology, RCT helps bridge the digital divide. Speaking with teachers from the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) has been especially rewarding, as they share how the technology we provide enhances students’ learning experiences.
