I began my journey at Renewed Computer Technology as a youth intern in January 2021, driven by a desire to transition into a career in IT. Throughout my contract, I gained extensive knowledge about a wide range of electronics and was eager to tackle the challenges that each new day brought. Toward the end of my 8-month contract, I was hired as a full-time Junior Technician due to my strong work ethic and determination to succeed.
Shortly after, with the encouragement of management, I was promoted to Senior Technician and became the team lead for the detailing department. I was grateful for this opportunity, as it allowed me to develop and showcase my leadership skills. Additionally, because the new youth interns knew I had started in the same role, I was able to inspire them to work with the same dedication I had demonstrated.
In April 2024, I was promoted to Senior Lead of Inventory and Quality Assurance. This role has given me the opportunity to integrate my IT expertise, leadership abilities, and organizational skills. Over the past four years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Renewed Computer Technology and look forward to continuing my growth within the company.
